Did you notice buttons / vents / things not working as smoothly as they used to? ex: the hazard button or the TCS button.

Did something small and relatively easy, but got rid of an irritation. I didn't like having to leave the ashtray door open when I plugged in my phone charger; also didn't like the cable just flopping over the center console. So, today I decided to do something about it and ran the cable down, inside the console, and pulled just enough through where plastic trim meets the carpet to come up to where it plugs into my phone. Sometimes it's just the little things ..

No real issues to speak of. The top vents don't travel as far up/down as they did prior to the install, but they still move enough to get the job done well. The traction control button was worrisome at first, but after playing around with it a bit, it works just as it did prior.

Got the front & rear sway bar end links installed. Took care of most of the suspension clunks I was hearing.

Got new rear tires installed. Sanded/polished/ceramic coated the wheels while I had them off.

Painted the calipers while I had the wheels off.

Had the passenger side exhaust/muffler out attempting to replace with a more open flow muffler but the ones I ended up with are too long to fit. Put the old pipe back in. I did drill the pipe for the muffle mod while I had it out. Will drill the driver's side later.

Changed the oil.

New tires need some scrub in time...spun a bit just pulling out of the driveway without even trying!

I replaced the hatch release button just above the license plate. I'd gotten it to work once before by taking it apart and washing out all of the fine accumulated silt. This time I had to replace it with a new one (about $11 on Amazon). It's nice not having to dig out my key fob every time I want to put something in the trunk.

^^^^^^

I remember this been quite the balancing job for one person. Well done and if you don't mind me asking, is the converter change for drag or something else? Thanks

Picked up my first Corvette this past Friday, washed and cleaned, new battery, and order new tires on Saturday - Michelin PS 4S.

Installed the Prospeed spal fan set up and Z06 Z07 package aluminum radiator. Now my water temps are 185 to 190 with AC on and 92 degrees out. Can not wait to see how they perform when it is 100 degrees out. Keeping my fingers crossed not to see an more 230 water temp when cruising at 75 mph with ac and 100 degree out.

Hey captain vette. Thousand Islands is indeed beautiful. I live on the Eastern end of the Thousand Island Parkway.

I was born in Mtl. Used to do the OJ on Wednesdays.

What part of Mtl are you from?

Too bad for all this rain.

I got new Michelin Pilot Sport 4 S tires on my GS a couple of weeks ago but didn't get to really drive them in the mountains until last Sunday. Beautiful drive through Lake Lure and on up to Mt. Michel, the highest point east of the Mississippi.
