285-35-19/335-30-20 Federal Tires GREAT FEEDBACK.
Customer had super sports on his car and ended up wanting something taller to fill the wells up. He drives his car pretty hard and wanted something to test out different then the contis he was looking at.
I ended up finding the 285 35 19/335 30 20 Federal 595 RPM Tires for 675 bucks for all 4 on ebay and he said "well worth a shot since rears wont last a month"
He slapped them on his oem wheels on friday and saturday night had some testing on them and is very happy with the results. He said the rears traction was better than his super sports (on street fun nights) and overall ride is much smoother partly to do with the taller sidewall. Tires have a 160 rating.
Just wanted to throw this out there because for those that want a thicker tire to fill up the fenderwell and something that wont break the bank these federal tires might be the ticket. I actaully ordered a set also for the new 19/20 combo I have coming and I will also give my feedback

They appear sold out on the front tires and only have 4 of the rears left. But I like the idea to fill up the wheel arch. Given our expensive CF bits low on the car I hesitate to lower this car like I did my C6Z. But Michelin also has these tires in SC2s and MPSSs both non ZPs. Pirelli also has them in in PZeros if you drop to 335/30/20 in the rear.
You will risk speeding tickets as the tires are about 1 inch larger in diameter so your speedometer will read low, but that is easy to either tune out or if you aren't tuning for warranty purposes to simply keep in mind.

Unless you are on State 50 in Nevada. Strict 75 limit. Been there, done that and got a ticket for 78 while driving an indicated 75 while heading to Wendover, Ut for an autox. Of course all the decals and numbers on the car may have attracted some unwanted attention.

Yeah, the Federal Tires (dirt cheap) have peaked my interest as well. Hope to see mounted pics.

I guess I'm too inept at proper searchs on either link. Both ask year, model info and/or tire size. When I enter both, the search engine says no tires exist in those sizes. Obviously it's my search problem as they do in fact exist. How do you bypass those fill in boxes and go directly to see the tires?

Ive wondered about these as well. Would be awesome to hear some feedback. I went 335/30/20 Pirelli's because i wanted to fill up the rear fenders as well...gets tons of compliments on my C6 now!

eBay tire special. $100 off $400 purchase. Discount Tire had them for $436 - $100 eBay coupon code = $336. Sadly you could only use it twice. I bought Ben's (WeaponX) used 295/30's for the front $500 minus another eBay $20 off coupon, so net $480. So $1,152 for my set of Michelin Pilot Supersports.
