I need a cowl hood and skirts
I want to ensure I'm aware of all my options. I need a hood that will clear a 2.8L Kenne Bell and some subtle skirts to go with the ACI splitter I came across. Clearly the KB hood is the easy button but since they're no longer made I think I'm SOL there. I have access to a shortened Dewitts radiator and am willing to reuse my aftermarket air bridge so clearance at the radiator is not a concern, just everything behind it. Also for those of you running an ACI splitter how did it affect clearing bumps and driveways and stuff? I know it sits higher than the stock air dam but it's also farther forward. Any heating issues with it?

For the hood I have a 4" high rise from Dritech, it weighs 15 pounds. The Dewitts raditor and spal fans are a great choice, you don't need to use the a specific air bridge though. The dewitts is the same height as the stock or damn near it. It is however thicker, but that won't mess with any clearance issues. I personally don't have the ACI but I would take corners more at an angle and I would try not to park with a parking block in front, unless I pull in backwards. I don't think you will see much of a heating issues unless you race it, or have power mods on the car. The ACI tends to direct the air over the car instead of under to the air dam. I personally would go with the vortex front splitter since it has a an opening for air the reach the air dam. I also cut the front license section off completely and cut a hole leading directly to the radiator and the intake. But this makes it where I can no longer driver in the rain or or wet roads( Its not a daily so its not that bad for me)

Our AC skirts you lose almost no ground clearance. Both these cars have the AC skirts, the black one has our Vortex front lip which is a bit shorter than the ACI for more ground clearance.

With the skirts no problem with clearance. With the spoiler be very careful entering drive way try to take them at a angle. Mine is lowered on stock bolts as far as over heating I have left my original rubber center spoiler on also to help direct air. I have also put on a 160 degrees thermostat. temps in hot summer don't get above 193 very often.

It looks great. As long as that center vent clears the blower snout and pulley it has my full attention.

SC111, the options that will clear a Maggie are few. The RKSport SC hood will, but will have to be clearanced at the rear brace for the newer blowers. The Starcraft/LPE and Kennebelle cowl hoods should as well. Lastly is the MCM SC hood. Those are the only ones I know of and some are basically impossible to get at this point.
