C7 Corvette Molded Plastic Grille Blackout Package

GM made that chrome strip into every C7 Corvette Stingray factory grille. You either love the chrome or hate it. Other aftermarket companies sell a strip of vinyl that lays over the chrome to cover it up. This is not a permanent fix. Peels off after time. This product is for those who hate it! We've had customers asking us for quite sometime to create a quality product to eliminate that ugly chrome strip. For our customers that demand the best for their Corvette we are excited to bring this product to market.

This two piece overlay is made from ABS plastic and is molded to fit the exact contours of your factory grille. We paint these covers in GM's Carbon Flash Metallic which will be an exact color match to the rest of the grille. This kit installs in under two minutes by overlaying your factory grille. Each piece comes with 3M adhesive backing for a quick and easy installation. This C7 Corvette Stingray Grille overlay comes complete with installation instructions.

This molded grille blackout will fit all C7 Corvette base models. Models with dual camera will be required to slide the blackout between the grille and camera.

Looks good. I personally hate the chrome badges/accents. I'm not big into chrome at all. These look great and a permanent fix.

It installed it on mine and it worked out great. Looks better than tape.

Sure can. It'd have to be a custom painted option but we can make it happen. If you're interested, give me a call at 888-631-1433.

Thanks,
Dave

Good product and good price. I spent a lot of money for an OEM visible CF roof, CF side skirts, CF splitter and was not about to use tape to cover the chrome bar. There was a CF cover similar to what you offer but cost >$300. Don't even see it offered any more!

Hi! I am interested in ordering the part. However, I see on your site that there are 2 version, one for the GM license bracket and one without. I use the aero license holder. Which one do I order?

Thanks

Hi, are you running a front license plate frame on your car? If so, order the version with the frame bracket, if not, then don't. Thank you.

  • I bought my 2014 C7 with a visible Carbon Fiber roof. When the clear plastic PPF GM supplied got dinged within a month (cheap PPF) I added full length real CF side skirts. Worked, solved the rocks thrown by the front tires hitting the front of the rear wheel well where GM had put the cheap PPF. Removed the PPF and when I sold the car not one ding.
  • Then real CF hood vent was available so bought that and added a real CF covered splitter.
  • Then all that was left was the chrome grill bar. Having spent all that money for real CF was NOT going to use tape. One company made real CF covers for the grill bar. It was very thin, attached with plastic epoxy but was twice the price (in 2014 before inflation $s) of what you offer! Had to have it! No Longer Available!

Could not live with what looked like a Tooth Retainer!

The Cheap PPF GM supplied was terrible. It was dinged in a month. After I installed the full length side skirts that solved the rocks thrown by the front tires (BTW I had installed the GM Splash Guards-- not good enough) I removed the dinged, discolored on the edges PPF. PIA.

In some areas where the backing glue stuck to the body because I pulled at an angle, had to use this product. BUT if pulled off correctly glue came off with plastic!
