Corbeau A4 Leather VS Microsuede
I have a black 2001 convertible and am considering some new seats. The existing seats are in great shape but I don't like the sliding around and also the squeak produced between the leather materials of the seat in the shoulder areas.
To remedy this I am considering some A4s in microsuede as they should be quiet and also grippy -BUT- I am not a fan of the logo.
Can anyone tell me if the leather versions are noisy.
Also has anyone dyed the regular logo, I assume it is stitched. I have not been able to see these seats in person but if anyone around the St. Louis area has some I would love to try to get a trial fit.

For function, microsuede is the way to go. Stuff holds like velcro. I installed mine a month or so ago, black microsuede with shaved base, double locking sliders, and lumbar support. No issues whatsoever, best mod i've ever done. They've been holding up great and look new, even after being put through a rainstorm with my leaky window seals. That being said, anyone much larger than myself wont fit comfortably (6'1", 42 regular chest, 34 waist, 180lbs). If you're taller than 5'11", get the shaved base.

I have microsuede A4 - shaved (I'm 6'2) - while they were out in the driveway I sprayed them with "stain repellent stuff" before installing them. The only other thing I did was to buy a "memory foam cushion" - I sit on this on longer trips and it gives my thighs some relief from the bolsters - but on track day they come out....

I appreciate the feedback. I have a micro suede style seating surface in my Volt that is comfortable, quiet, and grippy.
Any input on the logo and can it be dyed successfully to tone it down?

Have any of you had your seat for a year or so? Wondered how the microsuede held up long term. Thanks
