Hey there!! I was in your same situation as well till I cracked a sleeve on cylinder 7. So im going through it now. I was lucky enough to get a ERL superdeck 427 from them before they closed their doors.
I had WCCH heads installed prior so I can tell you what it cost me for the short block set me back 12k for parts and labor. planning on posting the build soon but you can check out my IG @r3drumz_408.

nice where you stay at? That 12k is just the short block alone. Look up vengeance racing’s website under packages and they have a 1300hp package it will give you an idea of what’s involved and the total price. I know every shop is different and depends on your setup you choose to go with it can be done cheaper or expensive just depends on your wallet.

Late Model Engines, LSX iron block, 1500 to 2500 Hp, take a look around and you'll have a really good idea. You might want to consider setting your LS7 off to the side and build an LS3. Much cheaper, and the car will be worth more with a stock LS7 if you switch back.

I was looking at RHS long blocks with the dry sump system for 13k. Seems pretty nice since you can have piston squirters

Solid 1000hp setup is around $35k in parts. Engine alone $15k or so. Fuel system will be 2500+. Drive train will cost just as much as motor if not more. Cooling system, etc. Cheaper to buy a complete car.
