Default Bumper gap

Does anyone know the correct bumper /fender gap and if there is an adjustment on them ?
My 2017 has the start for the dreaded paint peel on BOTH the right front AND rear bumpers.
I plan to remove them this winter and repair them before they get really bad.

There are a couple of threads dealing with this issue. My new Grand Sport was repaired prior r o delivery by the dealer's body shop. Looks great.

Why would you try or want to fix this yourself? It should be done under warranty.
