We thank you for taking your Time to post.
Very well done. The year breakdown of the Car and it's changes was a challenge when diecast collecting. It was all in for some. One sticker change, new diecast.
NASCAR Made it easy to just keep spending. When it WAS Hot.

Corvette Racing did run a Silver and Black paint on a C5.That was a beauty.
I believe YELLOW Started Early in the C5....

The Start of CORVETTE RACING Is illustrated HERE:
http://www.corvetteonline.com/featur...rvette-racing/

The Passing of Dale Sr. with the GOODWRENCH GM Logo's was Retired.Effected all forms of racing under that Banner..For GM That was quite a HONOR To Do That

“Endurance racing enables us to test new technologies that transfer from race car to road car,” said Mark Kent, director of racing for Chevrolet, during an interview in 2014. “The lessons we have learned from the Corvette Racing program are immeasurable. Not only does Chevrolet race the products we sell, we do it against our chief showroom competitors.”

Great Job.We appreciate the hard work and it shows with the Sales of the C7.
Race on Sunday,Sell on Monday..
Typing that reminded me of this: Sunday Money

Post up your Diecasts Too...That would be appreciated to some members i'm Sure

I am a huge Corvette Racing fan. I watch all of their races and go to as many as I can every year. I really wish there was more discussion/involvement from the forum. I'm not even sure if most readers/users know that Corvette Racing even exists or even care. Oh well.

Some pics from last years race at Watkins. You can literally walk right up to the cars while they are working on them. The team is super polite, inviting and grateful. It is a great experience.

I've been to VIR and Watkins Glen several times and it was a great time. The Corvette Corrals are the way to go. Parking right by the track and plenty of other Corvette fans to hang out with during and after the race. Visiting the garages is also a real benefit at both tracks. The drivers often come up to the Corral and answer questions and give autographs. I hope to go again this year.

You might want to check the racing section There are stickies for GTLM racing and F1

https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...roadracing-23/

Or you can just follow this thread as it will surely get moved to that section anyway

btw - I watch every IMSA/GTLM race, I've been to Le Mans 3x back in the 90's and am a huge Corvette Racing fan. Glad there are others with interest.

I wouldn't miss the 6 Hour weekend at Watkins Glen, its the best deal in racing. The Corvette Corral is a must to add to the experience. Can't wait for this year's race!

Corvette Corral tickets for the 2018 Watkins Glen went on sale last week. They are limited so if you're going better call them soon. I got mine.

Will be at the Daytona 24 later this month, and Sebring in March, planning on also doing Watkins Glen 6 hour, Petit LeMans at Road Atlanta and possibly VIR. Anybody planning on going to any of these races, be sure to book nearby hotels well in advance (like 8-10 months) if you want to be close, they do book up, and they do raise the rates and require minimum number of nights. For both Daytona and Sebring we stay in the Orlando area (60 miles to Daytona, 75 miles to Sebring), lots of restaurants near the Daytona track, not so much in Sebring, its a pretty small town. Jake symbol? I ordered the Jake hood stinger on my new ZO6.

Count me in as another big fan of GTLM. I haven't gotten up to speed on 2018 rules, but I agree that many on this forum would be shocked to hear that the C7Rs have only slightly more HP/TQ than a base Stingray, per FIA/IMSA rules.

and that the BoP rules hamstring/f*ck them every race.....

(yes it's my biggest complaint about IMSA)

I'll happily subscribe to this thread. I try to go to at least one IMSA race a year (I'm pissed off they aren't in Austin again this year) and I watch every one of the races. The GTLM category has been the best class of racing ANYWHERE for the last 2 or 3 years. I also follow F1 avidly and the IMSA tickets are the best deal anywhere. Paddock passes are cheap and worth every penny (unlike the kidney-selling required for paddock in F1).

Unlike most, I think IMSA does a really good job with the BOP (except for the run-up to Lemans 2016, where Ford screwed everyone). Fabulous racing, great rules and awesome tracks. The competition is intense at every race, but respectful almost routinely (except for those A-hole Porsche teams).
