Looking at this 1990....thoughts?
Folks...in the market for my first Vette. Want a C4. Like the L98 TPI. Looking at this one in my hometown and it looks to be a good deal but would like any thoughts from the C4 experts on the forum. Going to look at it tomorrow. Have the C4 checklist in hand. Thanks for any comments. Really appreciate it.

Looks clean, body and interior look good to excellent. Mileage wasn’t listed but if it has records and has decent mileage I think $5500 is fair. Of course it could look 100 times better in person and other factors; new parts, tires, low miles. Those factors would add value. Good luck!

Looks Fine. It has seat covers so the seats are probably garbage, which is common. It has an aftermarket radio, which most people file a hole in the trim for. Price is still ok if it's in decent shape.

Great comments. Really appreciate it. Will try to address comments here in summary. Car has 89K miles according to the seller, a local guy. Thanks for the catch on the seat covers, Boss. Hope to see it tomorrow. Got an extensive checklist off this forum that a reader provided previously. I was thinking around $5K. Thanks again.

Car looks clean, and it comes from my area of Florida, can't say I ever seen it, but the pictures look good he is showing.
The price looks about right, but remember to barter!
Take it on long ride, I95 according to the buyer is right out his door, and take it on good spin.
PM SENT!

IIRC there are a couple grades to get of this.
In this case i thought the car is pretty decent for a driver that could be cleaned up and real presentable compared to most of what you see on CL.
You can find threads here on people redoing seats.

They are not recovered, they are slip covers. The pattern is wrong for a 90 and then on the back you can see they cover over the seat backs with a hole for the seat back release.

Not bad. I'd want to see the overall condition. You can do a lot worse. How does it start, run, accelerate, shift and stop. Does it need anything right now, before you can drive it. If they all feel normal you can't lose much. Keep in mind repairs will up the ante quickly and if you don't like it you will be lucky to break even. For a cheap DD it looks good. BTW, try for $5k. $55 looks about right.

Correction. It is labeled as coming from www.c4vettes.com. Very extensive what to look for.
