A2W Procharger Setups
Has anyone made the switch from air to air to air to water set up for their Procharger app?
I'm already using meth, but exploring this option to help even more at the strip. Is it worth the switch, I've read the Z app only uses a 6 quart setup just can't see that amount of liquid making a big change in AITs...

Would like to see more on the procharger air to water. There seems to be no info out there on it!
Other option could be:
G1Pro is building a bigger intercooler if you want to stay air to air.
G1Pro also has air tonwater intake manifolds. You could use it in conjunction with the air to air with an ice tank in the back?
LMR (I think) did a twin air to water in the brake duct area.

Not on my C7 but on another car I own has a cheap A2w with just distilled water and no heat exchanger (I run just a Rule 2000 in my water tank/2.5 gallons, directly to the A2w and my iats stay with 10 degrees ambient at all times...
be very easy and cost cost effective to setup on a c7... when you track it run some ice or just leave the water in it!!
my pump kicks on when I enter boost so it’s not running all the time

I'm curious on this setup, cost, fitment, routing ect

pic above.... I built a tank that holds water and is directly connected to a2w intercooler..
rule 2000 pump inside water tank...
only thing I changed on intercooler was make the 3/4 hose to 1” or 16an do it doesn’t bulkhead the pump..
Whst unique about this setup is I took a c7 ECS blower and make it work on this car

If you were to make the switch, I would recommend going the G1Pro A2W. Aside from the lower IAT's that can be achieved depending on the cooling support you run with it. Another huge benefit is the A2W intercoolers are much less restrictive, and you tend not to see a huge boost drop like we've seen with the bigger blowers that are paired with the Procharger A2A intercoolers.
Thanks for the reply.

As much as I love Procharger, and they are my go to centri blower. I do not recommend using their A2W intercoolers. I know of several different C7's that had the PC A2W setups with F1X's and they kept blowing the welds on the intercooler.
If you do decide to go the A2W route we'll be releasing an interchiller system for the C7's HX systems this year so you would not have to be overly concerned with volume if you went that route.

it works but needs some modifications to be great imo. it's still a nice base to start with. we have done them.

I was referencing to an air to water 2000hp intercooler that I came across on G1Pro's Instagram a while back. I swore it was for a C7 but I actually think it is for one of the LS powered Corvettes..

My stand alone air water seen there is a universal
I can run whatever size in/out in whatever orientation is needed but it is up to the customer to mount it
As far as strength on mine, all sheet metal components are 3/16" thick and fully welded inside and out. I won't talk about any other companies but I will say the ones blown I have seen at other shops and pictures sent to me from various customers are not even 1/8" thick (maybe .085 wall?) and not welded inside.
I will say if you opt for air water and want to tune with your maf make sure you stick with a stand alone air water system so your maf can go post ic but pre intake manifold.
With an air water intake manifold option you must tune speed density as the maf sensors will literally begin to melt after iats start to exceed 225F, even temps 200-225 they will run into pre mature failure very quickly.
I have done some experimenting in the coyote world with MAF mounted post ic core IN the intake manifold. It works especially after the engine has a tad of rpm. Idle tune is a pita the but tuner was able to get it to work, when the tb is closed the air is cross flowing so much inside the plenum that maf gets crazy wild spikes. However as soon as the tb is cracked it flows super smooth and easy for tuning.
I do not currently have a good location of mounting a maf post core in a ltx manifold, deff not in a corvette system. A all out race application with a much deeper bottom plenum I could it.
