Default Watkins Glen Gray - Built Out for ZR1

If you have hopes of an order for Watkins Glen Gray, and don't already have an order in the system, consider it done for now.

The orders from February and March have TPW's that are into June.

The color shows as done in the plant by 6/18.

The constraint this week, for ZR1, is for cars being built after 6/18.

There are replacement colors, but they are not yet announced.

The bash is likely the right place to introduce the new colors.

Does this mean that ZR-1's are rare and WG ZR-1's are really rare...hmmmm

Does anyone know why GM would/is discontinuing such a popular color?

Looks like my M7 WGGM ZR1 will be a rare combo!!

Thanks That's just what I was wondering! WGG is one sweet color I love it on my Z06! Number 3-4 seller behind black and red. But they keep ceramic gray?

My Wat Gl Gry ZTK Coupe has production target of 6/4.... I ordered the color only because I liked it not because there might be fewer of them. I didn’t learn of the discontinuance until after I had made my choice. I wasn’t even sure it was good information. Thanks for confirming it

ZTK manual coupe with Satin Graphite wheels? No carbon painted mirrors? We’ll have to avoid attending the same dance. Haha.

If it helps this discussion I started another thread on this topic with some comparison pics of what might be the WGG replacement color.

- I (we) know a few things that lead me to conclude it is likely supply-based.
1) The released termination date was 5-17.
2) There was a large increase in WGG C7 orders (not just ZR1s) shortly thereafter.
3) The constraint was put on WGG a full month early.

I believe GM had a limited supply and estimated when they would use it up, then used it up faster than expected when more people suddenly ordered it, then was forced to put it on immediate 100% constraint.

Let's see if "GJI" is the new color code to replace "G7Q". If it is, on my order.

Wow, sounds like our cars are just about identical except for the wheel color. I chose carbon flash. You have very good taste my friend!

We can go to same event and compliment each other’s car.. haha. Do you have a 6/4 build week too? What state is your dealer in? Mine is Pataskala, Ohio.

Its a shame, finally got my call that my allocation is in, but cannot get the color I wanted, going Silver to hold my place in line, carbon flash wheels, black with suede comp seats with blue stitching to match the brakes. More of an elegant beast and to match my first vette a 1978 anniversary C3
