Default WEAPON-X Carbon Fiber Rocker Vents - the missing piece!

I don't know about you guys, but the black rocker vents drive me crazy since everything else is carbon fiber. So, we decided to move forward making carbon vents for the rockers to compliment our vast array of carbon already offered for the C7s. These are very easy to put on and can be done in less than an hour as all you need to do is pull the rear wheels and remove the wheel liner to gain access and if I recall, they're only held in by a single bolt. I'll be test fitting these soon for pics, and if all is good, I'll publish pricing and open up for pre-orders of the first batch!

Accorging to this recent thread, it's anything but "very easy"... Maybe there's a better way to go about replacing them?
Can you post instructions?

Oops...forgot to link thread... https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...trim-dont.html
OP says OEM vents are riveted in and are very difficult to remove. Curious to see instructions because they look great.

Everything I've read about that part is how annoying it is to install.... but then again people said the same about swapping the passenger side fender vent and it wasn't difficult at all.

I hope you're right after you guys try installing a set. Let us know!

don't do it.it is NOT a easy install.i have done it.see those three holes?those are rivet holes where they are riveted to the inside of the fender.they were riveted into the fender before it was put on the car at the factory.there is NO room at all to remove them.on the drivers side the tranny lines are behind the vent and on the passenger side there is LESS room with a big tank in front of the vent.i had to dremmel the top of the rivet heads off on the driver side from inside the wheel well liner.on the passenger side I could not get the dremmel in,no room big tank in the way,so I used a long screwdriver to break off the rivet heads.the vender I got them said the same thing,EASY INSALL,just one clip.i installed the new ones with red 2 way tape because you would never get a rivet gun inside to rivet them on unless you removed the fender.i looked high and low for a install vid for these and I could not find one.now I know why.

I did the passenger vent and it is not to hard if you do not have sideskirts like I do.if you have sideskirts you have to drill out the rivits about a foot back, which is a pain.i came up with a much easier way to do it.check it out.i did not have to unbolt anything.

I installed passenger vent and I have the full length side skirts. Just need a long, thin 8mm crescent wrench.

I don't believe you will see a install vid for these pieces because of the difficulty of the install.i do not know who told the vendors this was a easy install, because they were mistaken or they never did one.

Just got them in Friday, got them on today with very little issues. We'll have install pics and vids up soon, but it's not as easy as originally thought since we fit the 3D printed version on a C7 that had the Z06 body installed on it; however, it certainly is not as hard as someone here is making it out to be LOL.

Remove rear wheel, remove wheel liner, brake duct scoop, and use a carbide deburring air tool to take the head off of the 3 rivets and there is a clip at the bottom and they come right out.

We are ready to rock on these carbon rocker vents! I have 10 pair being made now, first come first serve and offering them introductory for $299 shipped a pair! These are scheduled to be done by the end of the month.

Order Here:

For those of you whom want to see about install, here is a video and it would take less than 2 hours to install these with basic tools.
