climate control programer interchange
I have a 1994 with corrosion growing in my programer .
I cleaned it but still doesn't work
The head unit is only getting 1 volt on two green wires
Anyway the question I have i.e. what other year or part number will work in a 1994.
I have seen written others have put in another unit from a 1990,
!990-1996 should all work???
Mine has a number of 16177111
any clues appreciated

Not sure about HVAC interchange years; I recently bought a rebuilt HVAC unit for my '88 from www.garyscorvettes.com

1990 to 1996 C68 "guts" will all work. If you swap whole units beware that the early model type fonts were in orange letter and the later years were in white.
If it were me, I'd just find a used unit, but it an swap it out in 30 minutes. Unless you are NCRS intent, you will be wasting lots of time and effort with a rebuild.

OP - '94 - '95 LT1 would be the same and if purchased from SPO would have been a REMAN. I didn't see a reference to the 16177111. LT5 is different by application. Shopping 'used' be sure you have a matching label. The number you mention is seen often on eBay. Is there a production date on your label?

OP asked about 'programmer' and I believe you've assumed 'control' in dash!

Service Parts Operations GM - I know what/where programmer is located and the only direct interchange for yours is '94 and '95 - shopping used make sure you get a match for your label OR you could assume that if labelled REMAN GM 16192582 it would also be a valid replacement. That information is from an older GM SPO catalog I have. There are threads here in the C4 section that mention that also. You mentioned 'climate control' so I assumed C68 ATC. The C60 also uses a programmer.
