I have a Monterey Red (almost the same as CRM) with cashmere interior. I originally had black mats, but bought red ones this year and like them much better.
I have the black mats on cashmere and it looks fine. I have similar light interior in a different vehicle and went with the lighter oak/tan mats there. They are impossible to keep clean and look awful after a while. I'm definitely happier with the black mats in the Vette.
I have this, but don't have pics handy. I think the Ebony mats look better than the black mats, but either way, it's better than Cashmere mats on so many levels.
Another thing about the black mats: The slightest dirt or even dust on your shoes shows up on the mats.
It doesn't show up as much with the red mats, and the red mats LOOK SO MUCH BETTER!
Trust me, you won't be disappointed. Before I bought mine, I searched the internet for a Monterey/CRM Vette, cashmere interior, with regular red mats -- which I assumed were made to go with a bright red body color. I never found any pix anywhere.
So I took the $140 plunge, never sure if the mats would look okay with the darker red body. But they're a winner. The black mats are kinda inconspicuous, just sitting there, not drawing your eye like the red mats do. But that's JMO.
