Stock c6z06 and c6zr1’s mph in the half mile.
what are owners typically running in the 1/2 mile for a car that is mostly stock. Exception would be minor bolt ons, air filter , cai and or cat back exhaust with no tune.
Coming from a c6z06 now into a C7z06 I have a debate going on over in that forum
a couple of guys with relatively stock c7z06’s are running 153 to 155mph in the 1/2 mile.
I was thinking the c6z06’s were more and the c6zr1’s were quite a bit more. And both cars stock would walk a stock C7z06 big time in the mile or magnum 1.5 mile as azdave posted 196 mph in the magnum 1.5 with a stock c6z

Stock and modified 1/2 mile times are listed in a sticky thread at the top of this forum for ZR1's. When bone stock I ran 154.0 1/2 split and 182.6 mile at the Texas Mile.

My C6Z stock ran the 1/2 mile at Gila Bend in the low 150s. (800'elev.)
Now with HCI and 591/525 at Mojave I did 160/187/201.2 in the 1/2, 1, and 1 1/2 mile. DA was 4600' on those runs with tail wind.
The 196 stock was with a very strong tail wind. Without helping wind stock in the 1 mile was 173. I'd estimate stock in the Magnum without wind would have been around 188.
The notice we got from MKM that put on the Magnum was that the FAA sent a letter to the Mojave airport strongly discouraging shutdown of the runway to aircraft. The airport probably receives federal funding, so the airport no longer would host events. The Magnum did have a motorcycle fatality in each of the last two events held.

At Rantoul, IL a few years ago I ran 160-161 in my stock ZR1 with an intake and cat-back. I think the ECU balances out fuel trims and kills almost any gains of the intake, but the exhaust is probably worth about 10. I also have an expansion tank so another gallon of coolant, and I cooled down between runs so my IAT2's never got above 110. Weather was nice, maybe 70 degrees. I also ran a completely stock 1LZ C7Z06 auto who ran consistent 155-156 speeds and hot lapped, although he cooled down before running me. At this track on that day I think a truly and completely stock C6ZR1 would run maybe 158. Most races were done from a roll between 40-60mph and I did some digs which were well before the first cones. All runs never varied more than 1mph even with a 20 mph difference in start speed.

My stock 2011 Z07 did 149 at the Houston 1/2 Mile, 169 at the Texas Mile, both are run from a dig. I now have modified it and plan to run Shift S3CTOR in August in Indiana (1/2 Mile event). My car has consistently been doing 144-145 in Pocono (1/3 Mile) Roll Racing since the mods (553/501). I expect it to be 153-154 at the 1/2 Mile. When I ran the Texas Mile most stock C7Z06's were running 147-149 1/2 mile speeds. I also recall seeing a few posts by C7 Z06's running half miles in the high 140's.

I will say seat of the pants my c7z06 feels like it falls short of my stock 2009 c6z06

The C7Z06 has the 0-60 time but as it gets above 140 it starts to decline, top speed is nowhere near the C6 Z06 and when I was at The Mile every one of the C7 Z06’s had 20lb bags of ice on the supercharger between runs, in the staging area.

Aero drag hurts high speed. CD of C6Z is ~0.33 and C7Z something like 0.38 for Stage 3. Factory top speed rating of C6Z was 198. For C7Z with Stage 1, 2 and 3 Aero was 196, 190, 186.
