Default Question: Valve Covers on a '67 Big Block [R&I]

Hello, I'm going to put new gaskets on my valve covers ['67 427/435], as they are leaking.
Question: How difficult is the left side? Will I have to push the alt away, or can I wiggle the VC in & out without touching anything else.
Thanks

The alternator is not your problem---The power brake booster and master cylinder might be though. My 67/435HP has manual brakes and I have no problem getting the VC off & on. You might have to unbolt the cover and lift and rotate the top of the cover towards you to remove it, but I really do not see anything impossible.

Thanks Ron,
I've only owned the C2 for about a month and still getting familiar with it.

Lift it up and move forward. Prepare to drop at least two of the triangle shaped washers, and at least one bolt. They will end up on a splash shield or on the floor.

(I believe the '67 NCRS judging guide is incorrect about where to tie in the shielding ends.)
