Default Greetings Everyone !!

Just want to introduce myself, I'm Arnold, I have a 2004 Z51...I have had it since 2016 it's in "Excellent" shape. I came on the form to get to know other owner's and share information about these very unique cars. This is my first Vette and in the beginning I was pretty excited about having this car until I figured out how hard it was to get in and out... I'm having second thoughts now. With that said, it doesn't matter really, my wife loves it so that's why I still have it ...Lol.

Arnold

Welcome to the forum, Arnold, and congratulations on your C5!
Sorry getting in and out has been an issue. Some people find that instead of trying to just step out of the car, turn sideways in the seat and you can place your right hand on the steering wheel and your left hand on either the door sill or the door jam near the door striker and then exit the car. This allows you to put both feet on the ground and support yourself with your arms/hands when getting out. Hope that helps so you can enjoy your Vette more!
Best wishes.

Congrats and welcome to the forum Arnold!!

When I had my C5 I used the notch in the door jamb to rest my had on entry to ease in...

Welcome aboard. Your Vette looks very sharp. You may also consider the Window Valet to help with entry/exit in garages/tight parking spots. You’d be surprised the difference it makes getting in and out with the window down. Best of luck!
