Default C8 vs Ferrari

Just came across this pic, thought I’d share.
I actually think the C8 looks better (in these pics, side profile)… I don’t love the side intake on the Ferrari.
I might be biased tho lol

EDIT: I guess I need to mention that I’m not comparing the cars in terms of performance , quality, fit and finish etc etc. or saying that the c8 is in the same league.
Im just talking about the actual look/design of the 2 cars pictured.

I love my C8, but Ferrari wins that side by side hands down. Obviously not the better "bang for the buck", but no price tag attached I'd scoop up the Pista.

I don't know why I would ever buy a Ferrari when C8 Corvettes are available!

The fact Corvette is made in America is all the reason I need to buy it.

Buy American, Americans work!

Corvette is to Ferrari what Mega Blocks is to Legos. Can’t wait to get my Z06 nevertheless.

In person the C8 is more stunning than in pictures. Ferrari could be too, not sure.

It's pretty close. Toss up on side looks.

Instead of a C8 replicating an existing exotic, how about an exotic originally built from a C8 by design

Fortunately, I get to choose whether I drive the Ferrari or the C8 every time I open the garage door.... though, I do have to move the Pontiac Vibe if I choose to drive the Ferrari.

I think the C8 is a great car. I'm about to pick up my third one in less than a month at the museum. Having said that, I was able to drive a friend's 458 Italia yesterday. That car was amazing. There is simply no comparison, and are two cars in completely different leagues. Sure, on track, a C8 with the right driver can do similar times as a Ferrari, the shapes are similar, and I'm sure other similarities. But the materials and craftsmanship are completely different. And they should be, the build process is very different between the two.

Now, I love that the Z06 motor was patterned after the 458 motor. Because after hearing the Z06 at the BASH last year, and then driving the 458 yesterday, I can't wait for my Z06 that will hopefully happen in 2-3 years when my name comes up at my small dealership. Until then, I will enjoy the heck out of my C8 HTC, driving it daily, rain or shine, and will drive my Z06 the same way. Something I couldn't do with a 458.

as far as looks, sorry but I do love Ferrari, but Corvette is awesome too. Pricing the same, performance the same, build quality the same, I may still edge to the Ferrari.

And here is my C8 Coupe that I sold, my HTC will look similar:

This is like saying your local chick with a FUPA and no fashion sense is just as hot as a supermodel. You're only saying that because she's 4 feet from you and supermodels live in Europe.

Sorry, while I think the C8 looks great and is an obvious performance bargain, I’d have to say the Ferrari is the better looking of the two cars.

I was in Kansas City last week and ran across this amazing Ferrari at a tire store. Absolutely beautiful and I can only imagine the price tag on it.

I guess some of you don’t understand the nature of the post; I wasn’t comparing the 488 to the C8
(I didn’t put the price and performance caption in the pics)

What I’m saying is that in the picture; (forget what brand the cars are), just looking at the profile, and in particular the awkward air intake and goofy looking door handle, 488 isn’t the better looking car (at least in my opinion) different camera angles could very well change my mind.

That white one is a different model and is absolutely stunning. And the 458 pictured in a previous post is too.

we all know Ferraris are arguably the “standard “ in mid engine design and corvette has always been an affordable imitation inspired by the Italian brand.

The engineers married a Holden Ute x C7 to make the C8 development prototype dubbed Blackjack. Imagine if they owned/embraced/evolved that design instead of chasing Ferrari. C8 S-10, C8 Ute, and C8 High Country. Absolutely horrendous lol
