i think your right! You paid over MSRP! You drive it over the summer.if after the 6 months.
you decide to sell it. Depending on how much over, you should probably at least break even!
did you get the car
How did you spec it?
It is great, i’m looking into Ron Fellows driving school!
yeah , got mine 6 weeks ago . It’s a pearl white anniversary edition . Posted it on another thread but :
I would doubt the answer to the first Question could be easily answered. There may be dealers "taking an order" but after some research you will find that an order, putting in an order, or "ordering" is silly. Nothing happens without an allocation. Do a bit of research on the process and you may find it is easier to simply buy a car when one comes available from a dealer with a substantial markup.
And a small fine tuning to the second sentence, the wait is generally 12+ years, not months...
I've been on Macmulkin's wait list for 2 1/2 years. I was just notified that is time to place my order unless I wanted the Z07 package which I do. They had no idea when that would be available so I wait some more. I don't know if they are still taking orders, but mine is at MSRP.

i was #60 on the original order list!
i got my Z06 (non Z07) Feb 6th.
i wonder how many others have passed on ordering till they can order a Z07 pkg?
I believe most BIG dealers that have wait lists are sold-out for 5+ years, as I am in 600s with one and doubt I will see mine until late 2025 at best, I believe that dealer has reservations of 2,000+.
If you are trying for MSRP, sadly, that boat sailed in NOV 2021 when most starting taking deposits.
I would think smaller dealers with much lesser allocations will all try for the top of the market when they get deliveries, for every car they get through the production run.
Start calling local dealers. I bet you have no chance. My dealer will only sell local. Other dealers near me wont even take more names. 1/2 of them are MSRP, others will get every ounce of gold out of you they can. Hence $50,000 on Raptor R's. $25,000 of GT500's.
Any answer other than a hard no is sugar coating the situation. If you want one in the foreseeable future and you’re not already on a msrp list you will have to pay 50k+ over.
Davis Moore Chevrolet in Wichita, KS is still adding to their waitlist, but if they receive the same amount of Z06 units they did with C7, the current wait is over 20 years.
Sorry man, you're not gonna have any luck on this one. Too many people have been on the lists for too long, and there is way too much demand. Your best option is to either pay massive markup...or wait til you can get one used for cheaper in a few years.

Going by the data I have, they have gotten 1 Z06 so far and a dozen or so Stingrays (12.. but I only have about 75% of the stingray data) for MY2023. Yeah thats gonna be a long wait for people on that list lol
I ordered about 4 months ago. MacMulkin Was told the wait was 18-24 months
Huh? You placed an order or submitted a build request, or got on the wait list? I don’t understand what MM said is 18-24 months. We are talking Z06 right?

What is your number on the MM list? Divide that by 200 and it will get you the YEARS out you are if Chevy can actually crank out a good level of Z06s. If you don't know your number you can go to the following link and key in the email address you sued when you got on the list: https://www.macmulkincorvette.com/or...n-tool-c8-z06/
I got on the MM list early at #87 (17 months before Chevy officially announced the Z06) and took delivery of our non-Z07 car 33 months and 3 days after getting on the list. I doubt if you got on the list 4 months ago that MM would have told you that you would get a Z in 18-24 months. Your number on the list is likely well above 2000.
