Black Z with Aero vs SeaWolf Grey
Well I'm pretty set on black z with exposed carbon, but would like to see some seawolf grey with exposed carbon pics/videos.
If you guys have any. Please post away. I like the color and want to see what others think as well. Sea Wolf grey will be easier
to clean so I'm contemplating.
Thanks

Sea Wolf Gray is a color you buy because your eyes can pick up some color ques that others can't. To my eye the paint has flecks of red and gold in it. The car would look good with the tech bronze wheels as well. Here is mine at sunset with the exposed carbon bits.

I saw my first Seawolf gray today and I was disappointed, I thought it would have more metallic in it, it's hardly noticeable.
Definitely would be easier to clean but will never look as good as black IMO.

I have been dead set on Sea Wolf with visible aero. One, I like the color, two, my last Z06 was black and I told myself never again. Seeing all these Z06's show up on lots at sticker has had me considering other colors however.

This member just picked his up and posted some pics. I love the color. I don't think it has exposed CF. That would look sick.

Sea wolf grey is a modern color I guess. For old school farts like myself, it just looks like clear coat primer. Not bad at all, just not beautiful in my book.

That's debatable. Look as good as black for approximately 3 minutes after washing, or driving in town and covered in visible dust and pollen?! lol

I sincerely preface, eye of the beholder…your ride, your choice and all of that. But as fan of neither Seawolf Gray or black (mainly due to cleaning requirement's), the black looks WAY nicer. Not even close. Not even in the same league…and add in Carbon Fiber accents, man that would look awesome. Seawolf gray looks like primer they forgot to paint. I know it’s in vogue right now, but that’ll pass. Black is timeless. A buddy of mine traded in his black Stingray for a black carbon flash Z06 a few weeks ago and it’s sharp. Just my $.02

Black is more difficult than some other colors I know because I have 3 black vehicles, one is a Corvette, my second black one. Ceramic coating makes a world of difference in keeping them clean. I don't mean the 3k ceramic coatings but the self applied products. Use the best product you can and do it yourself, I use one from Shine Supply, it's very easy on and off. Even if you have to reapply in a few months it's well worth doing.
Nothing beats a clean black car for sure!!

Agree, and mine was ceramic coated, still was a pita. That said, I live one a farm, have a 1700' gravel driveway (that is getting paved next month thank God!!), and also keep around 8 acres mowed every week. Dust and pollen is a **** here during spring and summer time, peak corvette driving time, and every time I wanted to go for a drive, the car looked filthy even with a cover and sitting in the a closed garage. Was always just a never ending battle.

Yeah I think the black is more sinister. So I think I'm all in now. Is this the carbon flash? Being really trying to see one in person. If you friend has a pic in the sun. Would love to see it. I only have carbon flash accents on my C7 z06 and its not that noticeable unless if the sun is throwing the sparkles from the flakes. A whole car is probably amazing.
