Engine noise in the cabin

FIXED!! Engine noise in the cabin
Guys, if you hear that aggravating engine lifter ticking noise in the cabin, I found the fix . I bought a carbon fiber roof bow. Once I removed the original bow and installed the carbon fiber one, I heard the noise even louder. So I had some noise dampening sheets from a different project left over. Its sticky glue-like rubber material on one side and aluminum on the other side. It comes in a roll. Anyways. I applied it to the area the bow covered on the roof, then turned over the carbon fiber bow and applied it on there as well. I reinstalled the bow and..... BAM!!!!!! Absolutely NO engine sound at all. Only thing I hear is my paragon touring exhaust coming from the back on the car. An Awesome solid sound without that lifter or fuel injector ticking noise. So even if you do not buy a carbon fiber roof bow, you can still take off the original bow and do as I did. 100% impressed by my accidental find.
C8 roof bow.

Looks like GM, EOS, and may others sell versions of this. Even reusing the factory painted part, this appears to be a pretty simple little DIY mod to quiet the undesirable noises down!
