I was fortunate enough to find a Smoothline hard top and finally getting it painted to install. It did come with the J bolts but not the tabs that are installed for the j bolts hook on.
My question is,
How stout are those tabs? How long? They don’t look too substantial. I planned on simply buying large washers and slightly bending them. I know Smoothline went out of business but I did visit the website and tried reaching out when I obtained the top. I got what was expected, no response but I figured it doesn’t hurt to try. At the time the website had installation instructions still posted and was able to see what the tabs look like.
Any input is greatly appreciated.

Did you ever figure this out? I am having the problem, just purchased a top and it has the j hooks, but not the tabs.
