Looking to buy C6 Z06 roller with body. I don't care about the drivetrain, looking for nice body, good interior a plus, low miles a plus. I have the drivetrain (see photo), just need a nice body and chassis into which I can transplant. West coast preferred but flexible.

Z06 vs tree. Clear loser.

Not my car but I looked at it yesterday. Don’t post here often but Came to the site to continue my search. Figured I pass the info.

Not a roller but I looked at a car near Tampa Florida that could be a good candidate. Only has 11k miles so the value is there. Interior was nice.

Had a ton of good parts you could sell off. a2a supercharger. RPM diff and DSS axles. Stainless works headers and borla catback. Bunch of other stuff.

I was going to buy it but it had too many issues.

issues:
it’s been sitting for about 2 years. Presumably outside. It’s filthy.

doesn’t go in reverse. Owner said he had a clutch replaced, brought it home, and it wouldn’t go in reverse so he parked it.

cooling fan fuse is melted in the fuse box.

It’s smoking from the front of the engine when running. Can’t tell where it’s coming from. Motor sounds smooth though.

abs/tractions control light was on.

He mentioned he would sell it for 30k. That’s without trying to really beat him up on the price. The owner is sick(some kind of respiratory problem) and can’t work on it and doesn’t sound like he’s interested in wasting the time or money to have someone fix it for him.

anyway lots of good stuff to sell of that car that could make it a pretty affordable roller. Especially if the motor and transmission are actually good. I wasn’t willing to take the risk.
