Default Keep Your Boosted C6 Cool

Corvette C6 Z06/ZR1/GS Bumper Air Cooling Ducts – C7 Carbon
If you’re running a modified or boosted C6 Z06, ZR1, or Grand Sport, you already know that heat is the enemy. Once you start adding side coolers, the OEM airflow just isn't enough to keep those temps in check.

These air ducts come with reinforcement brackets that bond to the bumper and front ducts to create a strong reinforcement for the OEM bumper after it has been cut open.
  • Can be used to re-route brake air ducting with DIY modifications.
  • Get the space needed for the larger coolers to run more boost or cool your drivetrain better!
  • Made from a true composite manufacturing process yielding a very durable and strong product
  • Carbon fiber and painted gloss black finish options both are sprayed with a high quality automotive paint system that ensures a lasting shine.
  • Manufactured via closed Molding
  • Fiberglass finish ships in raw gel coat finish ready for you to prep and paint.
Trimming on the front fascia is required in order to install.

Air ducts need to be bonded on to the front fascia with epoxy-based adhesive [adhesive not included].

Originally, I had the oil and transmission coolers in front of the radiator. Oil and transmission temperatures were always on the high side, especially after the engine upgrade.
When I added the TSP motor and supercharger, water temperatures were now much higher to the point of concern particularly at lower speeds.
I saw these, liked the idea, and bought them. They're a bit of a pain to install, but the results have been good.
With these, I was able to run larger coolers, which helped, and having a clear airflow just added to that.
Water temperatures improved because there were two fewer components in front of the radiator, reducing heat transfer to the incoming air.
I added the upper fender vents to allow the new incoming air a place to flow out and to reduce lift at higher speeds.
So, I didn't record the actual numbers, but I no longer become concerned when I encounter the occasional slowdown on a drive.
Car usage mainly involves mountain road events and driving rallies, where the car is driven fairly hard for 6-8 hours a day.
