i saw a CTS-V yesterday driving on the highway with a parachute

Is the c4 braking system that much better that it doesnt need one?

or this modd cts-v faster than the avg c4 such that it needs one?

How about a trailer hitch, Reese used to make one for the C4, I actaually have one. Never mounted it on my C4 but used it one my Monte Carlo.

The trailer hitch would allow you to install a receiver for the shute when you were racing and then quickly pull it off for street driving. Officially you don't need the shute until you run more then 150 MPH in the 1/4.

This is a picture of it, it appears it is no longer made.

excellent idea.
Im at 140 MPH and thats without an intercooler, only rev'ving to 6800 RPM (I can do 7500 RPM) and no nitrous.
So I should be trapping 150+ once I add those missing items and revving higher.

The thing is, I know most guys run skinnies up fronts.
However skinnies dont provide good traction under braking.

So if I have normal 275 tires up front, it *should* be able to brake down from 150 MPH at the track I race (Dragway 42 - West Salem, OH), however the chute would be to satisfy track rules
