Default Looking for a 68-72 4speed manual car

Hi, I've been looking for a solid car that runs, drives, probably needs a new paint job but good fiberglass and solid frame and birdcage. I am OK with a NON-matching # car. Something I can tackle at home as far as restoration and not having to dismantle the whole car to do so. The car is for weekend drives and tinkering. I am a noob in the corvette world and would like to get into the hobby. T-tops or convertibles, must be a manual 4 speed and any engine is fine with me. I've had a few $15k or less cars get away from me. Hopefully one that gets my attention will come along. My budget is no more than $15k. Thanks for your time.

Hello r3,
Looking for a 68-72 Corvette. GOOD!
I believe you'll find that looking for a 68-72 with no rust issues is wise.
At $15K the car will likely need some mechanical work, or some interior work, or paint/chrome. Or all 3.
Any of these will quickly add serious money to you $15k budget.
BUT, what FUN you'll have!
Good Luck!!!

15K for a 68-72 4 speed car at that price is going to need some work. Good luck
