87 Spark Plug Thread size
Anyone know the thread specification for the spark plug hole in the L98 head? I have my right front plug that feels like it's binding up part way when screwed in. Thinking about running a tap in there to "chase" the threads to clean them up. So, need the size of tap to use. Any other thoughts welcome.

The thread size and pitch should be 14x1.25. If you are re-threading a spark plug hole, I would recommend using a spark plug tap. They do not use a conventional tap handle, but rather use a 3/8 drive so that you can use an extention if needed and a ratchet to run the tap into the spark plug hole. I can post a picture of a few that I have if you'd like.
