I was looking for a vendor that made LS swap headers for a C4 that have larger tubes like 1-7/8" or 2"? I have the Melrose 1-3/4" headers now (They are not made anymore) and would like to try some larger headers.
I've been searching for a set of performance headers for an LS swap myself. To the point where I purchased a non-running C4 that I originally intended to deliver to ARH in N.Carolina to use as a test jig for them to build a pattern. Too many obstacles got in the way of actually doing that so now I have an '89 M6 Roadster Beater for a parts chaser. (If anyone has a C4 with an LS block and heads installed that would be interested in letting ARH use it to create some race headers, let me know and I will get you the contact info) ... Anyway, in my hunt I bought a set of used Kooks 1 7/8" SS long tubes intended for a Pontiac G8 GT. The drivers side bolts in, the passenger side needed to have the #2 tube relocated and ultimately dinged to clear the C4 frame. The drawback is that the collectors are 3" below the floor pan drastically reducing ground clearance. Some intervention will be required to get the race car in and out of my enclosed beaver-tailed trailer. I will likely try to sell these. Another attempt was made using ARH Swap headers for a C3 ... similar #2 tube relocation is necessary along with angle grinding both flanges approx. 5 degrees ... (Needed to position the collectors between the tunnel and trans) ... I shopped the angle grinding to several local machine shops and none were interested in even attempting to get the headers fixtured to fit their machines. I also tried a set of 2010 Camaro 2" Kooks and there was just no way.
So, I'm looking also, and will let you know if I can find something that works!

From what I understand, Speedway Motors is the only one still offering LS Swap headers for the C4. They are 1 3/4" painted steel but the price is right ... under $300 shipped when they have them in stock. They fit real nice and are a decent gauge steel.

must be nice LS swap parts are like $300
ARH LT1 stainless 1 3/4" to 1 7/8" stepped headers - I must have had close to $2000 into them, after buying their x-pipe.
Burns Stainless will build whatever you want. Top quality fabrication, and they can design what would work best in terms of tuning also. If you don't care so much about pressure waves and velocity, or max effort, you can probably have them fabricate your own design if you use the indexed plastic pieces, but that's $$ for a proper kit.
I'm running cheap eBay C5 stainless headers in mine. 1 7/8" primary's and 3" collectors. I had to ding in one primary on the passenger side a little. Then I welded on new collectors. But for under $200 I'm really happy with them. Ground clearance isn't that bad. My car is lowered and if I'm careful I don't scrape.

A couple things about these. The O2 sensor bungs are way too close to the collectors. So I plugged the bungs on mine and welded on new ones. Also for the collector you need two 45 degree 3" stainless bends. These will replace the collectors that come on the headers. I welded mine on using flux core stainless wire from Blue Demon and it turned out pretty nice.
I took some pictures of the work I did on my old build thread. Go to post # 101
