Just my $.02
I always thought an early C3 just looked different with the PO1/PO2 wheel covers... in a good way.
As someone said on here not long ago the PO1/PO2 wheel cover accentuate the body lines of the early C3 corvettes more than any other wheel option and I would have to agree... which is why they always made the car look a little different.
Something about those covers really make the body lines stand out... and im always going to be a fan of RWL tires
Since the car we are discussing is Rally Red, I think the combination of PO1 or PO2 hubcaps and red line tires would look the best, in my opinion.

Not a fan of all black I like original rallys the best. I went with raised white letters but probably would have gone with red line ($$$$) if I hadn't just bought a set of goldlines ($$$$) for my 66.
Always been a fan of the iconic Torq Thrust II's. I prefer blackwalls to RWL as I feel the raised white letters draw your eye to them rather than beauty of the wheel itself.
What are the best looking 68' Wheel / Tire Combo ?
Do you prefer the Bright Metal Wheel Covers or Chrome Rally Wheels ?
Do you prefer White Letter Tires / All Black Tires / or Red Line Tires ?
Looking for options for a Rally Red 68'.
Pics and Options Are Appreciated
Color makes a lot of different. I have always liked light wheels on dark cars and dark wheels on light cars. So what looks good on Yellow or White won't look the same on Red or Black. Really, you should only be looking at red cars here for comparison.

I like your gray TorqThrust on your car. I liked the gray spoke or dark gray/black spoke ET Mags from long ago on the lighter cars like white and yellow. I think the contrast looks really good, just like Redhook's dark Westerns on the white car. Just like your comment on the white letters drawing the eye away, I think color is a big factor on what looks good.

redline tires....but you can forgo the cost and buy Tire Stickers redline kit. You just scuff up the outside of the tire and apply the pieces like a tube repair...worked great and lasts a long time.
