Window Fuzzy Installation
Lots of lessons learned (money spent) while assembling these doors.
1. The door window weather strip has split buttons that need a touch of lube and pre squeezed before install.
2. Dont install the rear track until the glass is on the regulator rails.
3. Each of these strips are fragile and expensive.
Now the question remains, which side of the weather strip faces in. The small or large molding trim.
The small trim is shown towards the top of pic. This one fell apart out of the packaging. I understand these can be had in two pieces. the rail with trim and the fuzzy.
I rebuilt my doors last year. I hated that job! I have been buying reproduction parts for 40 years. The internal door parts are the lowest quality parts I've bought in many years. I found when installing the rear window channel liner ( fuzzy's) I could not get the bubble clips in the lower rear channel, so I cut the liner at the top edge of the rear channel. Installed that section of the liner in the rear channel on the work bench before installing in car. This made things go better.
