Should it be zinc,bright zinc, or cadmium?

I'm thinking bright zinc only because cad plating was more expensive?!?'
I guess the answer would be on the support's engineering drawing where the finish would have be called out.

Here Is what my 69 support looks like. The mount part has never seen daylight until recently.
I'd call it zinc but not bright.
Do I have a picture you dont have Alan? heehee

The 70-72 NCRS Tech Manual and JG indicates that the hood prop may have been cad or zinc plated.
