67 Goodwood Green Coupe
My long time Family Friend, Jenn inherited her dad's 2, 67 Corvettes. Shes keeping the BBC Coupe, but she offered me the Coupe, at a really good price.
The car was driven to the garage in 1984, and there it sat until we pushed it out last Saturday.

The Goodwood Green Coupe was her dad's Daily Driver and he put over 140,000 miles on it!

Notice the Chunk missing in the fender. Chuck and his wife came out from the Bowling Alley (in January) and noticed that someone hit their Corvette!

140K+ miles, doesn't run, doesn't stop, Moldy interior, rusty frame, but its all there.

42 years sitting in a garage, I figured its not going to hurt it to see some showers on the way home. Besides, everyone loves to see cool old cars on an open trailer.

Got home, unloaded it and gave it a bath!

The Frame is pretty crusty, so Im planning on going with an aftermarket chassis. Since Im doing that and the fact that I have a complete LS3 & Tremec TKO in the garage, I plan on doing a Restomod. This is the PERFECT candidate since it has A LOT of miles on it, its not a desirable Big Block and it needs a lot of work.
So stay tuned as I jump off the cliff, empty my wallet, drain my 401k, steal from my daughters trust fund, all to just build this beauty.

Good luck with your new project. I'll look forward to seeing it through postings on a regular basis. With an aftermarket frame and an LS running gear that will someday be a pretty cool ride.

Chuck, his wife and Jenn, Loved beating around in the Dayton area in this car. He actually blew a rod out of the original BBC convertible, street racing!
