Already a new trans?
What do you boys think? I got my zr1 in feb and had a number of engine lite issues. Has been in 3 plus times. Now they are replacing the whole tranny. Seems odd since I've has 2 c8s and 2 z06s now the zr1 and it has the issue! While I'm ok w new trans I'm just concerned we have a problem. 250 k car and 2 k miles and needs a new DCT? Not happy. I'd like to hear from anyone knowledgeable on their take and suggestion

It is under warranty and they are fixing it. Not sure what else you're looking for them to do? You have 2 options, keep it and buy the 8yr Platinum warranty when you're 3yr factory is up, or sell it now and be done with it.

Uses the same dct as the rest just beefed up here and there. So you have to figure the same 2% failure rate applies to all models using that trans.
