Car downtime compensation
shame on you Chevy for providing such a bad customer service experience.
Compensation for repair downtime.
I'd suppose that car loan interest and insurance would be the "hard costs".
Not so sure about DMV.
And with a ZR1, depreciation may (may) end up as appreciation, so that is
difficult to quantify.
Tire aging - I'd say not compensatable.
I once heard that any time in a Chevrolet dealer repair shop, that that down
time is added to your warranty (expiration date) time.
Is that true?

People's expectation is different when they lay out $200K+.
In my state if a car sits at the dealer for repairs for over a month the lemon law applies.

Just like people who complain that a GR corolla has a cheap interior for $45k car. You can’t have it all.
yes $200k is a lot of money, but it’s all relative to what you get.
and yes i have a ZR1 (and a GRC). And no, my dealer didnt even give me a damn Trax when I brought mine in for service, but I was already prepared for that. I also don’t expect him to have ZR1s just sitting there waiting to be loaned out when most people can’t even buy one still.
if you want the white glove service, you gotta play the white glove prices. I would rather save hundreds of thousands of dollars, and I don’t give a **** about the badge on the hood, I care about the value/performance ratio.
If I was bringing in a $2M Bugatti or something, then yes, I would expect something.
This is what the lemon laws are for if you really are upset.
