Default Fan clutch

Engine was at operating temperature. I shut the engine off and I could freely spin the fan.

Shouldn’t the clutch be “locked” so to speak when warmed up? Making sure I tested it correctly before replacing.

74, 454 for reference.

When it's cold you should feel some resistance & it shouldn't spin more than one or two times...

Took a video.

The first spin was last night with the engine warm, the second was this morning with the engine cold. It is the original clutch.

Ignore the fact I don't have the shroud on it. I am just testing the clutch.
