1964 speedometer
I have a 1964 convertible, 327/365, 4-speed, no A/C. Just tonight when I was out driving, the speedometer went crazy and the needle was jumping all over the place, from 0 mph to 160 mph. It finally settled in at about 65 mph as it's bottom mph and would increase in the correct incremental mph as I accelerated. Now that it is parked, the speedometer reads 65 mph. What would cause this and how can I fix it?
