Default POR15 problems (never before)

Hi everyone

I always had good luck and wonderful results with
POR15 on all my metal parts.

I did my entire frame with the metal prep and POR15 coating. Never any problems, but now I am having trouble:

-> I degreased
-> mediablasted
-> cleaned with compressed air
-> degreased again
-> applied POR15 metal prep
-> Let it stay soaked for about 20-30 min. (Not dry).
-> rinsed it with hot water about 2-3 times.
-> waited a day to let it dry. (bone dry)
-> applied 3 coats

I still get these ‘blank spots’ that are not completely coated.

What should I do guys? Is it the product or the surface?

Are you spraying? What are you using to thin the paint?

I would sand the areas not coated with some 600grit sandpaper and wipe the area off with some Acetone and reapply and see.
