I've heard of them in the past. And read up on them.
Basically a controlled vacuum leak. Can lean out a overly rich carb. That's it.
Solid rip off.
Just put in EFI
Or jet your carb properly.

In 2024 you stated you had a 78 with a 383 using Vortex heads and Sniper EFI.
This post you stated "San" carburetor. What does that mean in relation to your current setup?

I do have a 78 with the Sniper. The “san” carb was a typo , meant to be titled “Anyone use one of these or seen it on a carb”.
Nothing to do with the set up on my 78. Just thought it was interesting, wanted to see if anyone had experience with it.
The mid 70 QJets had an adjustable part throttle APT screw.
Easily accessible from the top.
It raises and lowers the needle into the jet.
Best carb for optimizing cruise mpg and AFR hands down!
Much more accurate than a "controlled vacuum leak"
