At tip in on a heavy dose of throttle, I’m datalogging a lean spike (~15:1) and associated knock where it pulls spark. It clears up right away as the PCM enters Power Enrichment. I’m wondering if the %TPS for PE table is where I can resolve this. Once it’s in PE the AFR is stable and safe (wideband sensor), so I don’t think throwing more fuel at it in PE would solve. The %TPS for PE isn’t a table I’ve touched before, and the values (especially in the lower end of the rev range) kinda surprised me as to how much throttle you get away with outside of PE.
I’ll mention this seems much more frequent at a lower rpm tip in vs a higher rpm tip in.
thoughts? Does getting it into PE sooner get me in the right direction?
No it sounds more like an Accelerator Enrichment fueling issue. But I'm not familiar enough with $EE code to know how to remedy it. If it were the earlier $DA2 code I could easily advise.
A properly tuned AE fueling should provide a seamless transition into PE.
In my googling before creating the post I saw reference to the table you mention, however I cannot find its equivalent in $ee… unless it is called something that isn’t registering with me.

The base OBDI tuner does not appear to have a way to adjust acceleration fuel but the BETA softwarte does. I have the BETA software and I was given the software by Tunercat because I used to tune alot of OBDI cars. Ask them for the BETA sofware or if they have a way to adjust acceleration fuel in the current standard sofware.
I have attached a few tables from the BETA sofware so you can see what I am talking about.
The acceleration fuel with the BETA software is similar to how the acceleration fuel is adjusted in the newer OBDII cars.
You adjust impact wall facter based on temperature and intake manifold pressure, Bigger number add more fuel.
Interesting… I bought TunerCat something like 16-17 years ago! I’ve been keeping an ancient laptop alive solely because it houses this non transferable software and I find it a bit more user friendly than TunerPro. Are they even still around? Lol

Yah, I emailed them a few minutes ago to describe my issue and ask about this beta software. I replied off the 2013 email transaction with them from when I bought the software! So I guess 13 years not the 16ish I thought.

Once you have a license you can install the software on other computers, no problem.
I'm on my third laptop now... when one died, I simply installed the software on the new laptop, then registered it with my existing license info.

100000% agreed. I've been working with Tunercat for over 20 years now and they always respond right away. I've asked for additional parameters to be added to the definition files, etc... Excellent customer service!!!!!

Just email them and they will send you new install files with the latest updated definition files.
