We are a new member to this forum- thank you for allowing us in. We are also new to upgrading our '66 coupe and ran across this device/item which is a mystery to us. I guessed that it might be an adjuster for the parking brake cable tensioner. We appreciate the help.

ForbesVette - Welcome to the Corvette Forum. If you're asking about the item at the center of your pic, that's a seat belt anchor bolted to the underside of the frame.
By the way, you do know that all 'new' members are required to post up pics of their Corvettes, right?

Welcome! You've come to the right spot for C1/C2 owners. As Mike mentioned - post up some pics when you can.

forbes,
Welcome to the forum!
The attached pdf has details of the seat belt attachment points of a '65 coupe.
Hope this helps.

Forbes - A lot of us have the usual Before, During and After pics so post yours when you can.
Here's a few old 'stills' of my 65 Coupe, bought as a running/driving Coupe back in 1985. Took 7 years to complete, it was carved out of Bondo.
