I use super start platinum...I never had an issue, but many on here will probably say they are junk.

Currently I'm running the much maligned Optima Red Top in both my C5 and Father's C6. Hoping to get 3 to 5 years out of them. I may consider the Odyssey brand next go 'round. Not a lot of AGMs to choose from.
