2021 HTC Z51 with 8432 miles, went to dealer for regular service, Tech came and took me back to work area to show me how all my 4 tires were cracking near the top outside edge ( Big Cracks ), he explained that the tire dressings make the rubber hard and cause
these types of cracks, also car always from day 1 sits outside in the South Florida sun, so after 51/2 years have to replace tires.

I would get a second opinion from a real tire place. Are these summer only or all seasons? I’m in Houston but temps do hit freezing here in the winter which I’ve driven but my c8 is garaged. Big difference. I have summer only Michelins that are 4 years old with 23,000 miles. Have your temps dipped below 40? Mine have superficial cracks in the outer edge of tire. Might be age, cold or just wear. I don’t use dressings. The cracks haven’t changed in appearance. Can you take a pic of your crack? I’ll post mine for comparison.
