Did you make it to Knoxville this week?
WTF was I thinking coming to Boston in JANUARY?
On the news earlier, they were talking about closing Logan again tomorrow.
And it hasn't even started snowing AGAIN yet.

The weatherman on one of the 11:00 news programs gave the snow forecast for tomorrow and the people in the news studio BOOED him!

Phil,I was forced to go to Knoxville.
My flight on Sunday afternoon was cancelled because of the snow. NWA rebooked me on the Monday morning flight. The Sunday/Monday flight was the return flight.
On Monday, I had a ticket to go from Knoxville to LAX, departing in the afternoon.
When I got to Detroit in the morning, I asked an agent if I could just stay in Detroit to catch my flight to LA since I no longer had a need to go to Knoxville. (I had planned on working in Maryville on Monday.)
NWA said that in order to change my itinerary to avoid Knoxville, they'd have to rebook and I'd have to pay today's price for the ticket. Forget that, especially since I wanted to remove one (two) segments, not change any.
They also told me that if I was to not go to Knoxville, they probably wouldn't let me get on the LAX flight since I would be a no-show on the first leg.
So, I ended up flying to Knoxville from Detroit, then back to Detroit next flight.
Because of all that, I missed a day of work. The client has a site in Detroit that I could have gone to, to get some work done.
The storm and NWA cost me a day's pay.

sometimes!I just checked the Weather Channel site, they say the snow advisory is only until 11PM. 4 hours after I'm scheduled to leave.
So I guess you're not coming to Big Ed's on Thursday?

Delta cancelled 4 of the 7 flights today to Cincinnati, one was 30 min late, one was 5 hours late, mine was one hour late. But luckily, my Cincinnati-Knoxville flight was an hour late leaving! I can't remember the last time I was glad my outbound departed an hour late!
So when will you be back down this way?
