Is anybody going or showing at the fair this weekend? Sorry if this is a dupe. I did a search but didn't see anything.

I was planning to go Fri but the weather is not looking to good. I LOVE THE AUTO FAIR. I have only missed 4 out of the last maybe 15 or so. But that is one cold, muddy, miserable place in the rain. I will never go on Sat or Sun again. That is too much of a crowd both on teh highway and at the show. I will keep an eye on the forecast and if it changes I will go. The Charlotte gang goes every time and has an exhibit/show area.

The Race City Corvettes will be there in force! We will have around 18-20 Corvettes parked in the infield grass (towards exit of pit road) on Saturday and Sunday. If you find us, stop and talk for a while!! We have a great bunch of "members" and have a great time at the AutoFair! Just ask for Mark and I will introduce you around!

Hope the weather is nice for Saturday and Sunday!!

My club will be showing both days but I personally can't stand the event. The one thing you can always count on with AutoFair is that it will rain at least one day.

We'll be there, with a big fat "For Sale" sign on the Vette

If it sells, we'll be looking for a red M6 C5 vert with a black top next...

If it doesn't sell, guess it'll be time to mod it up

Look forward to seeing some of you there

*crosses fingers for good weather*

Well, I was thinking about kicking you in the shin and then running away like a screaming girl. But I'll probably just stick with my sense of humor.

Thursday is the day that the vendors set up for the most part. Friday is the "real" start for the event. Saturday finds so many people on the grounds that it can be hard to find what you need and Sunday is the day that prices begin to come down on what is left.

Kicking Rick in the shin is about the same as kicking a concrete wall. Try Baa-ing like a sheep & see what happens.

Just got back from Charlotte. Lots of stuff (and junk) like usual at AutoFair. Rained sporadically the whole day, kind of stunk that way. Maybe I'll get a chance to go back on Sunday if the weather is better.

Also important: If you go to the Oscar Mayer Weinermobile they will NOT give you a weinerwhistle UNLESS you sing the Oscar Mayer song. No exceptions.
