Yes if you stay on 28 going south just after you pass under 29 there is a McD's on the right and a BK on the left.
That intersection is controlled by a light so you should be able to get back on 28 North and immeadiately exit onto 29.
I guess the McDonalds in Sterling is pretty much R.I.P.
Since I am now the only one to put in the work to get a meeting place/time/direction sheets/etc to caravan out there, it will be at a location convenient to me. The previous person (who did Spring Skyline 2004) is no longer in the Northern Virginia Corvette Club, and he lived fairly close to Sterling. It's only fair to the person doing the work that the meeting location is up to him or her.
I am not driving from Centreville up to Sterling, only to head back down 28 again and pick up the Centreville 66 onramp (which is exactly what was done for Spring Skyline 2004!) when I can roll out of bed, and onto Route 29 at 7:30 AM on a Saturday, where we can pick up 66 immediately.
Sorry, but since the responsibility falls to me for coordinating a lot of events within my club, I've gotta do what I can do, folks.
Like James said, there is a McDs, BK, and Mobil station close by.

I was not asking if everyone would meet at McDonalds in sterling instead of Centerville. The Sterling Meet was originally started by Anne and Mike farmer, and was seperate from the Centerville meet. It was good for about 20 local (sterling, reston, ashburn) cars, and I was the only one to show up last fall. Just want to make sure not to sit out there like a DumbMule again.
