How much can you store on the 128mb card it comes with? Should I upgrade to 1gig?

just got back lastnight from a 10 hour drive to GA to Ten then back to VA. The GPS went crazy once. There is a firmware update for it that I need to upload/flash.

that should work for you.. 1gig... It will take a few hours to send the maps and for the software to compile the data. I send the gps 240megs of maps and it took almost 2 hours to compile and upload the data. 1Ghz laptop with 512 megs of ram.

That's good to know. I figure USB transfer rate is the same no matter how fast your system is. AMD64 3000+ and 1gb ram.

I'll find a good book to read.
