Left 1869 at 8am, stepped in the door 9 hrs 37 minutes later (including a 25 minute stop). 685 miles.
We passed a few our our brothers ( One twice) and had 1 hang with me for a while.........Heheheh John. A great time again and no tickets.....
Hope every one was safe......
Me too. Got here about 7:00 pm (1900 for the military types). All's good. Had a blast. I didn't even break triple digits coming home. Nice leisurely ride. Nice burn out JJ.
Good seeing you guys again! Golf next time when we are all playing the same rules?
The only difference in the game that I know of this time was that I played from the red tees and y'all played from the green!!! However, if you want to wear a skirt, I'll gladly let you play from the red tees next year!!
It was great seeing you again, and maybe next year 'I'll' be autoxing too...so you might have even more competition from me!!!

Surprised it took you so long. I did triple digits twice while following you for the half hour or so. We blew the doors off Steve and Scissors
Had a blast all weekend
Bob...since I didn't get to do a burnout at the track, Steve told me I should do one when y'all were yelling when we were leaving....I had been practicing in the driveway before we left....
Leo...YES, I'm still smiling....it was awesome...but I heard YOU were the one who was going to be selling things to buy a new toy!!!
Val...NOW I understand your comment....didn't you (or your teammates) listen at the beginning of the tourney when Phil went over the rules??? There is always next year!!!
Tom...After getting a ride in the new Z06, seriously considering a C6 in the future!! Glad the show went well...sorry we missed it....hope we see you soon elsewhere!
John...we were hoping y'all would hang with us the whole way home!! SCO picks & choses where he hhmm, greatly accelerates, yeah that's it....so as to minimize the chance of getting a ticket!!!
We had a really good time with all our Vette friends, new and old!

JJ!
Kewl .... maybe you can adopt me as a "brother" ... you're gonna need an extra driver just to do the "driveway shuffle".
Sent in my registration for the Beachcomber show .... the ol girl has been spiffed up a bit since I saw you last. Zip called this week ... some more of my parts came in. That will be a side trip on the way home from Innsbrook Wednesday.
Four Vettes .... only two of them ... we could both be brothers
They have more sweet classics in their driveway than we had at the last regular Smithfield cruise-in. Maybe Steve can just post pics here and we send him donations
Hum..............NEED..................T IRES.....................AGAIN
We burned 74 1/2 gallons @ $158. And believe it or not............John.....our last tank of gas got us to our carport 399 miles later at 22.80 mpg. Filled up the next day and had 1.5 gallons left

Not bad at all! Your performance mods have not been at the expense of economy. GM performance has come a long way in the past 40 odd years. With my 65 GTO, the letters were an acronym for three very real concepts: Get Turned On, Gas, Tires, Oil, and Get Toolbox Out. They were fast, thirsty, and would break if you drove them "vigorously".
Now ... the tires .... that's another story You might just consider sponsorship .....
