I don't think a lot of people like to claim they live in Alabama.

I'm up in Florence, AL (Northwest corner of the state). I know there are plenty of Vettes around, but I think the closest active club is Tupelo, MS. Send me a message & we'll hook up sometimes soon.

Montgomery here...

Alabama doesn't seem very active with Vette clubs.

I need a little help. Will be traveling through Alabama on my way to Destin and wondered about the shortest route. I have been a couple of ways and both seem wrong. Any local tips?

Mid Alabama Corvette (Birmingham) is a great group of folks. I have been a member just over a year and there's always something happenning ... just depends on how much you want to get into.

Shortest is I-65 to Montgomery, then 331 to the beach. The road from Montgomery south, however, is mostly 2-lane and carries a lot of traffic on Saturdays.
