Open Car Show
This was posted on the events list by Robert, but thought I'd make it a little more visible for those the rest of you.
Our club (Florida Camaro and Firebird Assn./FLCFA) is hosting a get together:
July 9
Applebees Restaurant
4638 SR 64 East
Bradenton, FL 34208
Phone: (941) 748-6800
It's an open show at the Applebees Restaurant in Bradenton from 6-10pm. There will be all kinds of freebies from various vendors such as Miller, Budweiser, and possibly pepsi Tropicana as well.
Simple directions are I-75 south to Hwy 64. Go West.
We'll prolly caravan down from Tampa around 4-4:30 to arrive prior to 5-5:30. Show starts at 6!

Restaurant was talking about a discount on food/drinks for registered participants as well.
Hope to see some of you fine folks there

Soooooo..., unless something MAJOR happens between now and 3o'clock, I'll be meeting anyone that has the fortitude to go south, at the BP station on Fowler near 75 at 4:35 (for Fred). This is in Temple Terrace.
I'll meet up with whoever else is south of us where ever you want to meet up?
Last year, I did the RevXtreme hurricane fundraiser in a rainstorm with another full blown hurricane bearing down on us. I'm sure as hell not gonna let a little rain keep me from this event that Donna's worked so hard to put together .
And the bright side is I don't have to clean the car
Besides as a former Coastie, I'm used to working in knee deep water (little military ribbing there folks), so whats a little water?
So, who else is still going? Hope some of you folks can make it
