Default (SMC) Convertible question
Is it EVER too hot to not pop the top on a VERT?

The last few days have been scorchers.

Just wondering if you guys and gals throw caution to the wind, sweat, and enjoy the view?

Or keep the top up, A/C running and waiting for cooler days?

I always drive with the top down if it's not raining.. and I'm in Florida!!

I've found my limits on temps this week. Any temp above 90 and the top goes up and A/C comes on.

Now in the winter, any temp below 45 and the top comes up and the heater goes on. "A man has to know his limits"

If I need the top to be up I leave the vert at home.Rear vision sucks with it up

I Live In Florida, And If It Isn't Raining The Top Is Down. I Was Told If You Run The A/c With The Top Down You Shorten The Life Of The Compressor.

That Is Why I Own A Rag, To Cruise With Top Down, And Enjoy.

I'm with Strick, you got to know your limits. Although,90 degrees at night isn't as bad as 90 degrees a 2 PM.Another rule, NEVER drive at the beach with the top up, unless it is raining or you picked up an ugly chick!!

i know when i had a vert i would have the top up to keep from turning into a crispy critter but evening and night time top down cruising is a must
